here are many advantages to preplanning a funeral. First of all, when preplanning, you can choose the funeral service you want. You make all decisions and specifically choose all aspects of the funeral. Secondly, family's burdens will be reduced at a difficult time. Since most, if not all, decisions and selections have made, things will be much easier for the rest of the family.
During a preneed planning arrangement we will set down with you and your family to discuss your wishes.
You may choose several different options. You may choose your type of service, including your casket, vault, or urn.
You may also choose the type of service including a night or day service. You may even select your music, poems to be read, and the type of clothing you wish. There may even be special instructions stated to carry out your wishes.
You may choose to leave the planning to your surviving family, the choice
You may choose to designate insurance, pay for the service in full, or make
small payments toward the service you select.
If you pay in full or patial payments, these funds are put in your name in a
bank preneed funeral trust account and can only be used at a time of death.
North Carolina law allows for preneed funeral contracts to be transferred between funeral establishments prior to or at the time of death. To have your preneed transferred to our funeral home, please call us or stop by to speak with one of our funeral directors.
All preneeds contracts are regulated by the North Carolina Board of Funeral
